Universal Care deliver services to looked after children aged 16-18, adults age 18+ and families.

Does Universal Care accept referrals from anybody?

At present we accept referrals from local authorities. However, should you contact us we will try our utmost to signpost you to a relevant service.

Referrals can be completed on-line on the Universal Care website, or call the Universal care phone number/office.

Does Universal Care accept emergency placements?

Yes, Universal Care provides a responsive service which includes emergency placements.

How much support hours can Universal Care provide weekly?

A.

Universal Care support intervention start from 5 hours per week.

How structured is Universal Care’s intervention when working with clients?

A.

All outreach/ support plans are bespoke and adhere to the client’s care plan. Hours of contact is agreed with the commissioning local Authority.

Are Universal Care’s staff familiar with safeguarding?

All Universal Care staff have received training in safeguarding and have been cleared by DBS to work with vulnerable individuals.
